Please note that there will be a delay in responding to reports submitted during the Easter weekend from Thursday 17th April 2025. Reports and messages will be responded to as soon as possible from Tuesday 22nd April 2025.

Students can find information about alternative support here.

Staff members can access support through the Employee Assistance Programme.

If you have a safeguarding concern during this time, or need help now, please see the 'I need help now' page.

We understand that some people may be hesitant to report with their contact details. The two-way messaging feature is to allow people who are reporting anonymously, and the staff members managing reports to make contact after the initial report is submitted, allowing for:

·The staff member to get further information to support them in investigating or actioning the report.

·The person reporting to be offered further, relevant support.

How does two-way messaging work?

When you submit an anonymous report, you will be offered an option before submitting that allows you to opt into two-way messaging.

You will then be given a code that will allow you log into the two-way messaging feature. You must save this code to access the two-way messaging.

If you lose or forget your code, there is no way to retrieve it, and you will need to submit another report.

You can expect your message to be responded to within 2 University working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays). Please be aware that this response time is for messages and not necessarily having a resolution to your report.

If you are sent a message by a staff member, and we do not receive a response from you 2 weeks of that message being sent, your report will be closed. If you wish to contact a staff member after this point, you will need to submit another report.
